Came here because of the $10 MySpaCoupons.com for the gel manicure. It’s been over a week and my nails still look great, which I’m very happy about. However, their service can definitely stand to improve.
My friend and I had been trying to reach them for weeks to make an appointment,They told her they were booked for the time we wanted, but they had an opening later, so we booked that spot. When the time came, they were able to seat my friend, but I had to wait an extra half hour before the girl got to me, and even then, she kept going back and forth between my friend and I.
Basically, I’m happy with my nails, but don’t expect outstanding service.
A wonderful personal and therapeutic experience from skin care to nail care! Kim has been my trusted partner in Self Care for many years now. I appreciate her attention to my personal needs and every detail of my requests. Her manicures and pedicures are nurturing, creative and beautiful! The leading edge products and techniques used with her facials keep’s me relaxed and my skin clear and glowing! I am often complimented on the quality of my complexion, fresh look and asked what products I use! ; )
I would highly recommend Kim to anyone looking for a very professional, creative and nurturing experience when it comes to their skin and nail care!

This place is really hard to get an appointment for on short notice. I called a week early and got nails for my graduation ceremony. My nails were totally bitten off due to the stress of finals so I asked for soft gel extensions. They are one of the only salons that do this service. It was $55 for everything (gel and extension) and you had no idea that my nails were bitten. They were fake, but looked totally natural and lasted for about two weeks. It was the perfect manicure for all of my graduation pictures. I look back at those photos and think about how cute my nails look. This place is great for all style from head to toes, nail art, but charge less than most other 3D nail art places.

That is a little hidden gem that I found out about through a friend and can’t be happier!
I have had gel nails done once at a different salon with Opi gel thinking it would be great for traveling. I was not happy at all because after a day or two it didn’t look anything like what I expected it to be. So my friend said that Carefree Chicks Nail & Spa is the place to get your nails done and having Gel nail makes a huge difference. Boy, was she right!
Soft, shiny, durable, endless choices of colors or design patterns, long-lasting ——– this is all I have to say. The best place for your gel nails. Period. All manicurists there are Vietnamese and they do speak English, so you can explain exactly what color or patter you want. They are so nice and attentive that there is no way you would not notice that! Very pleasant experience.
Getting your nails done takes about 45minutes, but having in mind the quality on my nails at the end, I value that over the shiny interior. If you get a regular color Gel nails, it will run you $35. Removal of gel nail is free. If you want a manicure it is included.

Absolutely the best!
When I first arrived at the salon, the nail tech gave me a consultation for the Carefree Chicks Nail & Spa (and a green tea, yum!) and she did not rush me one bit. I was like a kid in a candy store, it was so hard to decide what designs I wanted! I left the designs up to her, but I told her a little bit about what I had in mind and they came out amazing!
I got a pedicure as well, which was great. If you want a reflex therapy with it, you have to pay an extra $10, I think massage should be a part of any pedicure, even if it’s a quickie massage, but my toes look great and the polish is still on without any chips & it’s been two weeks.
It’s a little hard to get an appointment, so I definitely suggest calling in advance, especially if you are limited on time like I am. It’s definitely worth it, though!
They reward you with discounts, too. If you get a pedicure with any full set nail, you get 10% your services.

I’ve been a client for over seven years and love this place. I feel very pampered and relaxed whenever I go and I feel the workmanship is very good and worth the price! I’m very picky about how technicians polish my nails; it has to be smooth and even, a rush job just will not do! I’m also very particular about how the basins are cleaned and how the tools used on my feet and hands are sterilized. All basins are lined with plastic and also sterilized between customers. All files, buffers and sticks are used one time only and clippers are sterilized appropriately.
Finally, the atmosphere and people at the Carefree Chicks Nail & Spa are great! The place has a cool vibe, but not pretentious. The people make it feel warm and cozy.

This place is small and quaint. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a small relaxing waiting room with ice water/tea and very clean facilities. They offer a lot of services from massage, nail salon, hair salon, merchandise, etc.
The massage therapist I got was very good, very nice, and very helpful. I liked how she was very down to earth and cordial and keen on helping me figure out how to get rid of stress.
Their pedicure and manicure quality is pretty good. I thought it was a bit overpriced for what they were offering but it was a relaxing experience. There are still places that do it for 3 times less of their prices and the same quality.
I recommend their deep tissue massage. My friends like the Swedish
massage.
I just went today again, and I want to add that I don’t like that they don’t give you free water or tips like drinking a lot of water to get rid of toxins like some other fancy spas. ( because some people don’t know). I tried a new person today and he worked really hard to give me the deepest deep tissue he could. pretty good, hurt like hell though. ) I like

This place is awesome! My boyfriend got me a Gift Cert here for a massage so I got the one called “Back to Bliss” massage which is good for a tense back (I had a stressful day so it was perfect). They put a heat pack on your back first then deep tissue massage you….oh man, it felt amazing and the balm that they put on your back relaxes your muscles even more. I felt like I was melting by the end of my 45 minutes.
I originally went for the massage but I saw they had a salon there too, so I made an appointment to get my nails done. I have to say it was definitely the best manicure that I have had in a long time, and I usually go to some nice places to get my nails done. Kim helped me choose which option was best for my nails (I ended up getting gels) and she showed me how the different ones would look before she got started.
They are very attentive to your needs making sure you have drinks and magazines etc while you are getting your service. And for the shopaholics like myself, there are a ton of products they sell, all high end like shampoos nail polish etc, the perfect way to end a nice day at the spa is of course to buy yourself something to pamper yourself at home with.
I would go here again in a heartbeat, and when I need a little break from everyday stress I will be back.

I’ve been a repeat customer at Carefree Chicks Nail & Spa for over 7 years. They are always polite and welcoming when I arrive. However, as nice as the front desk staff are at greeting me and making my appointments, it’s the facials, and waxing that keep me coming back. I’ve see Kim for both treatments for over 7 years and I she is top notch in her field. I have very sensitive skin and she always customizes my services to meet the needs of my very delicate and sensitive skin.
First off, her waxing technique is about as perfect as it gets. Prior to seeing Kim, I’d had some terrible waxing experiences and once I found Kim there was no looking back. I have been recommended Kim to several friends who have never waxed and they were all converts and came back repeatedly for waxing services.
Her facials are amazing. I will go no where else for a facial. Kim has customized her facials to meet the needs of my overly sensitive skin. I’m allergic to many products and Kim uses only the finest products and of those the most gentle. I can attest that my skin looks years younger than it should and it’s all due to coming to see Kim at Carefree Chicks Nail & Spa repeatedly.
Also, no matter how busy Kim is, and she is very high in demand, once I’m in her room, all tension and stress just floats away and for that 60 minutes or so that I’m getting a treatment I feel relaxed and wonderful. I cannot recommend Kim and Carefree Chicks Nail & Spa highly enough. Also, you can join a skin care club that after 10 services, your next service is free up to $100! I always redeem my skin card for a relaxing facial and let my troubles float away.

I needed a new look before the Prom, and it had almost been a year since my last hair cut, plus I had a gift card of $50 to this place, and among all their services, I figured a hair cut would have the most long term effect, so in other words, more bang for my buck. I called in for an appointment on a Thursday and was able to get an appointment the next day for a stylist. Pricing-wise, it’s pretty expensive for a hair cut. The junior stylist (who is a newbie to the salon but not to hair styling) cost between $45 – $65. The senior stylist cost $85 – $105, and mind you, this is just for a plain hair cut. I chose the junior stylist because I didn’t feel like paying too much more, and I would say I made a good decision.
The person who cut my hair was named Connie, I think. She was really friendly and actually asked me what I wanted and listened in a patient manner. I was not intimidated by her at all. Then, after we decided on a hair cut, I went over to have my hair washed, and let me say, it was the BEST hair washing of my life!! Not to say I have had my hair washed that often, but she was so gentle, the water temperature was just right, and when she gave me a scalp massage, I just wanted to float up to heaven! I never wanted it to end!! But, it did, and then she began cutting my hair with only a pair of scissors. No shearing blade or anything…just scissors, and for the most part, we were just chatting away about different topics, and when we were done, I loved my hair cut!
So, my hair cut and hair styling cost $45, and I gave a $10 tip, so you can figure out how much I paid. $5 out-of-pocket.
I’m glad I went to a stylist that I felt comfortable with and was able to communicate clearly with. However, the sad thing is, because of the pricing, I doubt I would go back there again. I’m just happy
that I had such a great experience at Carefree Chicks Spa in Carefree, AZ and hope to find a place that is more affordable but just as great. It’s gonna be a tough journey, eh?
I love my Acrylic Nail, It looks a very natural, and It seems forever lasting!!……Kim is very pleasant, caring and she knows exactly what I wanted and needed for my nail. She is a great work of art. My nails look good all time. I always mark my calendars, and can’t wait for my next visit with her. My nails have done by someone else previously and I ended up with her for 6 years (She just trims and fill-ins my nails each every time). I am glad I made that change . I was introduced to Kim through a mutual friend and found her to be fun, inviting, funny and very hospitable. My friend suggested I get pedicure and manicure for myself to experience it for the first time.
So as a male who had never had these feminine treatments done it a try. Yep I was uncomfortable for about 5minitues until Kim had me smiling, laughing and relaxed. It was surely a very enjoyable experience for me.
Kim knows how to make you comfortable, treat you with respect and attention and then works her magic almost timelessly
. Kim I will see you soon. You sure know how to make a man feel good!!!!!
