What a find! I have been looking for a new pedicure spot since Universal keeps digging a deeper hole for themselves.
There is absolutely nothing bad about this place except that since they are so popular it is a good idea to make an appointment or you may have to wait a little bit.
The staff is mixed nationalities and all communicate with each other in English.
Went there today to get my eyebrows cleaned up.
I have been to a few different places for my eyebrows but I came here this time because I wanted to go during lunch and needed something closeby. I don’t know the name of the person who did them but she spent so much time and attention making sure that everything was right. I’ve been to a lot of places where they put the wax on, take it off, and clean up the sides a little bit. But this person really took her time.
Five stars for the attention to detail and solid price.
I love this place and everyone who works there.
They are, like the latter reviewer mentioned, really clean. Also — and this may sound like snobbery — the employees speak excellent English. No guesswork, you know? It’s refreshing. In addition to being clean and with good service, it’s absolutely freaking adorable. Comfortable chairs, nice decorations, and relaxing music.
This is officially my new pedi haven. I was in the market for a new nail salon. Recently came here and was so impressed with everything. I’m glad I don’t have to try any more salons – this is the one!!
Smiley and friendly staff = smiley and friendly Kelly
Big basin bowls for soaking feet = no gross lurking fungus
Reclining lazy boy chairs = nap time
Smooth feet and purdy toes = I’m a happy camper!

Got a crappy acrylic job done by another nail salon and came here to see if they could fix it. They did fix it AND it was the best job anyone has ever done on my nails. They are so thin (good thing
and perfect. They feel like my real nails just stronger and more beautiful. Thank you Paulene’s Nail Salon!

If I’m not having a spa day with the girls this is where I go to get my pedicures. The girls at Paulene’s Nail Salon are great; they do a wonderful job on my toes and give great massages. Sometimes I might not need a pedicure but I’ll go get one just for the foot rub and massage.
The best part about this place is its open on Sundays! Yes Sunday’s and during the week they are open until 7 and they take walk-ins anytime. I love going in on Sunday’s after brunch and relaxing a little while getting my toes done. Of all the walk in nail salon’s in Scottsdale Paulene’s Nail Salon this is by far the best I’ve come across, friendly service, many nail color options, and a clean environment.

First off, I’m a man, I’ll admit I am not a manicure or pedicure expert.
However, I got both services from Paulene’s Nail Salon, and really enjoyed the experience and outcome on my nails.
Massage was very good, longer than other spas I’ve been to. Massage chairs are very comfortable. Paulene’s Nail Salon did a very nice job trimming my cuticles. There was no blood, no pain.
Paulene’s Nail Salon was very busy on a Sunday afternoon, while the 3 or 4 other nail salons nearby were literally completely empty. I would think this means a good reputation in the community.
I thought the price was very good!
I’ll definitely be back.

I was looking around on MyNailsCoupon for an inexpensive, but still quality, place to get my nails done. I checked out the
websites for a few places, but was dismayed to see how expensive they are. Paulene’s Nail Salon website pretty, but the reviews were good so I figured I’d try it out.
Everything everyone’s said about Paulene’s Nail Salon is true.
My nails are weak and pathetic, but I don’t like long nails, so I asked Lisa what I could do.
She told me we could do an acrylic overlay. She did a great job with it. My nails aren’t too long and they still feel natural.
I also had a pedicure since I was watching with envy as others got it done. That felt really good, and the woman who did it was really efficient. I was in a time crunch, but I made it out of there pretty quickly.
They give first time visitors a 10% discount and then a loyalty card. After you spend $175, you get like $25 off. Since I’ll be getting fills, this is a pretty good deal.

I COULD NOT STOP STARING AT MY NAILS!!!
If you’re looking for great affordable mani/pedi’s in the Scottsdale area – well, I don’t know why you would look any further.
I was going to another place up near north Scottsdale. I would go in, be in pain for most of my visit an my nails always came out ‘mediocre’ at best. My friend Taylor had been seeing here at Paulene’s Nail Salon for awhile at this point and suggested I go with her. At this point it was either stop getting my nails done or change shops. I just couldn’t bear my current shop any more.
One appointment with Paulene’s Nail Salon later and I was hooked. I don’t like my nails long and am rather picky. They have to be thin, natural looking, my natural nails can’t be peeling away, and I don’t want to pay a bajillion dollars. Lisa was so sweet. She did an amazing job. I’ve been back every two weeks ever since then and am never disappointed.
There have been a couple occasions where I’ve had to see other technicians and have been just as happy with the results.

Wowy!
I loved my first visit. Recommended by my bridesmaid who always has the most flashiest nails. It’s small and quaint with a nice smell as you walk in. I was immediately impressed by all the different nail selections there; so many different colors! @ Paulene’s Nail Salon gals was polite and very fast. I guess gel nails don’t take as long as acrylics which is a major plus in my book.I’ve never been so in love with my nails before! I’m definitely making the haul from Chandler to get my nails done here again. What an awesome find!

After years of trying acrylics and other products to have lovely nails, I ended up with unnatural clublike nails that lifted or were a major time consumer. I finally gave up… Ended up having an occassional manicure to attempt to grow my weak, peeling nails.
Fast forward to finding Paulene’s Nail Salon in May of this year.
I had a manicure first… liked what I saw then decided to try the gel nails on my next appointment. Well, I am HOOKED! Started with just a natural clear look for a few months, then moved to GASP! a light pinkish tint for another couple of months. Then I decided to go all out for the holidays and am sporting a lovely Christmas-y red set of natural looking, beautiful nails. WOW..
My nails always look great, wear well and are very natural looking. Bonus: Paulene’s Nail Salon and the gals are very pleasant, the shop has no bad chemical smell and I am in/out quickly.
There are lots of designs, if you want something unique, it can be designed for you. Or if you are like me and prefer a more “traditional” look, you are in the right place.
